GRP is a networking community. The members call themselves Hubbies. In July 2026 they turned three, and Gabs wanted to mark the birthday with something better than another quiz night. She got in touch about running a murder mystery.
What we ran
We ran Odds On. A bookmaker found dead at the biggest meet of the racing year. 14 people on Zoom, split into three teams.
The suspects were AI-driven, interrogated live through the platform, in character and answering whatever each team asked them. Nothing about it is scripted or canned. Your team questions them like real people, and they hold their own.
Teams worked the evidence, compared notes, argued over who was lying, and made their accusation. Two and a half hours start to finish.
Three years of Hubbing
This one wasn’t a corporate away day. It was a birthday. A room full of people who actually like each other, there to celebrate three years of the community they’ve built.
That energy carried the night. By the end, one team had it cracked. The chat afterwards said the rest.
“Whoop whoop! What a great way to spend an evening. So complex and thought through. Brilliant! Happy 3 years GRP. Winners over and out.”
— Sarah Brason“Thanks all, great fun evening.”
— Andrew MorganWhat Gabs said afterwards
“That was just fabulous! Thank you so much Jaanika and Adam and awesome to see you all, Hubbies! Thank you for celebrating with us! Here’s to the next 3 years of Hubbing!”
