Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

How does the virtual format work?

Everyone joins a video call on Zoom. We run the session, professional actors appear on camera as suspects, and your team accesses evidence, voting, and team chat through our interactive web platform. You just need a screen and an internet connection.

Does anyone on our team have to act or perform?

No. Professional actors play all the suspects. Your team investigates: asking questions, examining evidence, debating theories, and voting. Nobody is asked to read from a script, play a character, or do anything that might make them uncomfortable.

How many people can take part?

Our standard format works for up to 50 participants. For larger groups, we can either run multiple sessions, or expand the story with additional actors. Get in touch and we will design the right format for your numbers.

How long does it last?

Two hours from briefing to reveal. That includes investigation, suspect interviews, deliberation, and the big reveal. We handle all the pacing so your team stays engaged throughout.

What tech does our team need?

A computer or laptop with a camera and microphone for the video call, plus a phone or second screen to access the evidence platform. The platform runs in any browser with no downloads or installations needed.

What does the founding client rate include?

Everything. Full facilitation, three professional actors, the interactive platform, and a post-event debrief. There are no hidden costs or add-ons. The founding client rate of £750 is available for our first ten events, after which standard pricing is £1,250.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Two to four weeks is ideal. This gives us time for a discovery call, actor scheduling, and any customisation. We can sometimes turn events around faster if our actors are available.

Can you run it during working hours?

Yes. Most of our events run during working hours as part of team days, away days, or development sessions. We can also run evening events for social occasions.

What if some of our team are reluctant?

This is the most common concern we hear, and it is exactly why we designed the format the way we did. Nobody is singled out. Nobody has to perform. Everyone participates in their own way: the analytical thinkers focus on evidence, the social connectors focus on interviews, and the quiet observers often spot the detail that cracks the case. The sceptics are usually the ones who enjoy it most.

Is it accessible for people with disabilities?

The virtual format is inherently accessible for people with mobility requirements. Evidence is delivered digitally and can be accessed on any device. If any of your team have specific accessibility needs, let us know during the discovery call and we will adapt accordingly.

Can you do in-person events too?

Yes. We can run in-person events with live actors at your venue. These are priced separately and depend on group size, location, and requirements. Get in touch and we will put together the right option for you.

How do we pay?

50% deposit on booking, remaining 50% is payable the day before the event.

Can we see a demo?

We do not run condensed demos because the experience does not work in a shortened format. But we are happy to walk you through the platform, show you sample evidence, and explain exactly what your team will experience. Book a call and we will show you everything.

Still have questions?

We are always happy to chat. No obligation, no hard sell.
